Attractive tetradrachm of Philip V, king of Macedonia, struck at Pella or Amphipolis around 184–179 BC, under the supervision of the mint master Zoilos.

The obverse shows the head of Perseus facing left, but with the features of Philip V, wearing a winged Phrygian helmet adorned with a griffin’s head and a harpa resting over his right shoulder, all within a shield. The monogram ZΩ of the mint director Zoilos appears above a club, all encircled by an oak wreath on the reverse.
