Mount traces visible at 12 o’clock on the obverse and at 6 o’clock on the reverse. Silver scudo struck in Lucca, Tuscany, in 1747. The obverse depicts Saint Martin sharing his cloak with a beggar, a classic allegory of Christian charity.
