Very beautiful siliqua of the Roman Emperor Constantius II, silver coin minted in Sirmium between 355 and 361. Lovely patina.

Sirmium, today Sremska Mitrovica in Serbia, was a Roman city located in the province of Pannonia. Originally founded by the Celts in the 2nd century BC and conquered by the Romans in the 1st century BC, it became the economic capital of the province of Pannonia.
