Bronze sestertius of the Roman Emperor Trajan, struck in Rome between 107 and 110 AD. The reverse of this coin depicts a monumental bridge built by the architect Apollodorus of Damascus at Trajan’s request, to span the Danube River in preparation for the Dacian campaigns
