Description

Denarius of the Roman Republic struck by the moneyer C. Servilius Vatia of the Servilia family. On the obverse, the head of Apollo facing right, with a ✱ beneath the chin; on the reverse, a horseman galloping left and another horseman on the ground holding a shield.
