Guy I of Ponthieu (c. 1030-1100) was the Count of Ponthieu, a region in Picardy, northern France. He is known for capturing Harold Godwinson, the future King of England, in 1053 after Harold was shipwrecked on his lands, before handing him over to William the Conqueror. His role in this event is depicted in the famous Bayeux Tapestry.
