Uniface Bronze Plaquette (c.1931), by Pierre Turin (1891-1968), a modern rendition of the “stèle de Pharsale” nowadays in the Louvre, two women face-to-face, classically draped present each other with lotus flowers.
It has been suggested that the figures are the goddesses Demeter and her daughter Persephone.
Dimension : 88*78mm small nick on the upper angle.
