Chinese silver coin, dollar struck in 1914 for the 9th year of the Republic. A variety of the classic type. Bust of Yuan Shikai, president of the Republic of China from 1912 to 1915; he proclaimed himself emperor in 1915.
The obverse legend is: 年三國民華中, which means: ‘Made in the ninth year of the Republic of China.
