William III of England

William Henry of Nassau, Prince of Orange, was a prominent figure of the 17th century. A brave military leader, he played a key role in the fight against Louis XIV’s France. His diplomatic skill also led him to become King of England as William III. He embodied the union of the Dutch Republic and England against absolutism.
