Louis de Bourbon<\/a> (1604-1641), Count of Soissons and Lord of Cond\u00e9, is the son of Charles de Bourbon-Soissons and Anne de Montafi\u00e9. He is a distant cousin of Louis XIII of France and a prince of the blood. He became the governor of Dauphin\u00e9 upon the death of his father in 1612 and later assumed the role of governor of Champagne in 1631.
