Nice style interesting reverse legend.
The cistophorus is a silver coin originally issued in Pergamon, Asia Minor, starting in the 2nd century BC. Its name comes from the “cista mystica”, a sacred basket associated with Dionysian cults, depicted on the obverse of the coin. The reverse typically features two serpents surrounding a quiver. Although its weight is close to four drachmas, it circulated locally as a distinct monetary unit. The cistophorus was later adopted by the Romans for use in the province of Asia.
