The Cubist series is the most abundant and diffuse of the cross coins. Resulting from a stylisation of examples from the early dolphin series, its right side represents a head, with an eye seen from the front, a prominent frontal skullcap and a lower jaw formed by a quadrangular block whose only projection is at the level of the chin. The hair is represented by thick ovoid locks with an ascending braid at the back, with the strands joined at the top. As with his prototypes, two dolphins confront each other vertically in front of the face. Traffic zone on the Aude-Garonne axis.
