Copper medal for Pierre-Jean de Béranger, French songwriter (1780–1857). His bust on the obverse and a lyre on the reverse.
The signature “DAVID & BAUCHERY” indicates that the design/model is by Pierre-Jean David d’Angers (commonly known as David d’Angers), and that the engraving was executed by Bauchery, most likely the engraver who produced the medal’s die.
