Louis de Bourbon (1604-1641), Count of Soissons and Lord of Condé, is the son of Charles de Bourbon-Soissons and Anne de Montafié. He is a distant cousin of Louis XIII of France and a prince of the blood. He became the governor of Dauphiné upon the death of his father in 1612 and later assumed the role of governor of Champagne in 1631. (Source: Wikipedia)
